About Dr. Amy Brodsky

Dr. Amy Brodsky is board certified in Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Brodsky graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B. S. in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She earned a medical doctorate from the University of Chicago in 1998 where she was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society and graduated with highest honors.

Dr. Brodsky completed her internship in Internal Medicine and her residency in Dermatology at the University of Chicago. She was awarded the Women´s Dermatologic Society fellowship for clinical trials on cosmeceuticals.

Dr.Brodsky is a member of the Chicago Dermatologic Society, The Illinois State Medical Society, the American Medical Society, the Dermatology Foundation and the Women´s Dermatologic Society. She practices general adult and pediatric dermatology, and has an artistic approach to cosmetic dermatology.

Her greatest satisfaction is derived from knowing that she has helped her patients by providing the highest standard of care with a warm smile and a compassionate touch.

About Dr. Jessica Borowicz

Dr. Jessica Borowicz joined Brodsky Dermatology as an Associate Dermatologist in 2011. She is a member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and an affiliate member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Borowicz graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Human Biology. She earned an osteopathic medical doctorate from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 where she graduated from the independent study program with special honors for her dedication to Primary Care.

Dr. Borowicz completed her internship in Family Practice and her residency in Dermatology at Largo Medical Center/Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida. She served as Co-Chief Resident in 2010-2011 and was the Cosmetic Dermatology Residency Coordinator from 2009-2011.

Dr. Borowicz won awards during her training from the National Society for Cutaneous Medicine, the Skin Disease Education Foundation, and the Derm Education Foundation. She also won the University of California Irvine, StrataMed and Allergan Scholarship. She volunteered as a camp medical counselor at the 2009 American Academy of Dermatology Camp Discovery, Camp Horizon in Crosslake, MN. She has published articles and papers in multiple medical journals and has lectured at several national conferences.

Dr. Borowicz is a member of the Chicago Dermatological Society, the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery, the Medical Dermatology Society, the Women’s Dermatologic Society  and the American Osteopathic Association. She holds medical licenses in the states of Illinois, Florida and California. Dr. Borowicz practices general adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery and has particular interest in the creativity and skill of cosmetic and laser dermatology.

Her compassion and sincerity for the highest care of her patients is evidenced by her dedication to excellence in the practice of dermatology. She approaches her patients with a warm smile and a kind heart to ensure each patient has a pleasant experience.

Dr. Borowicz, originally from Traverse City, Michigan, is excited to be back in the Midwest close to friends and family and delighted to be a part of the helpful and friendly staff at Brodsky Dermatology.
